Photos: No. 14 Iowa football falls to No. 5 Ohio State
The No. 14 Iowa Hawkeyes fell to the No. 5 Ohio State Buckeyes, 31-14, on Saturday at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. This brings Iowa’s record to 4-1.
Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith caught 11 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns. “All you can do is do your best and try to be as smart as you can playing [Smith], but he’s a great player. With a little bit of luck, we won’t see him again during my career, so that’d be okay,” said Iowa head coach Kirk Ferentz.
